Using the notes panel on an image

The notes panel feature allows users to annotate images with ease, enhancing collaboration and communication. This guide provides a step-by-step process for using the notes panel effectively, including adding notes directly on images and understanding the limitations of the feature.

Accessing the notes panel:

1. Open the Image: Navigate to the image you wish to annotate.
2. Open Notes Panel: Click on the 'Notes' icon to open the notes panel.

Adding notes:

• Standard Notes:
  • Click on the 'Add Note' button within the panel.
  • Type your note in the provided text field.
  • Click 'Save' to add the note to the panel.
• Pinned Notes:
  • Select the 'Pin' icon within the notes panel.
  • Click directly on the image where you want to place the pin.
  • Enter your note in the text field that appears.
  • Click 'Save' to attach the note to the pin.

Interacting with notes:

• Highlighting:
  • Click on a note in the panel to highlight the corresponding pin on the image.
  • Click on a pin on the image to highlight the corresponding note in the panel.

Locking notes:

• Once an order or re-edit request is submitted, the ability to add or modify pinned notes will be locked.

The notes panel is a powerful tool for annotating images, providing a seamless way to add and manage notes. While it enhances image-based communication, remember that it is not available for video or supported on mobile devices.

Troubleshooting tips:

• Notes not saving: Ensure you click 'Save' after entering your note.
• Pins not highlighting: Refresh the page if pins do not highlight when clicked.
• Locked Notes: If you cannot add or edit pinned notes, check if an order or re-edit request has been submitted.
