For every 100 businesses that receive venture funding, only 2 of those businesses will be founded by women. And believe it or not, this is progress. Women are creating businesses at record rates. Venture is not keeping up. For the women that do get funding, it’s all too common to face sexism in the process.

Our Co-Founder and CEO, Liz Giorgi, joined All Things Considered this week to share her experience and her radical efforts to change the startup industry in the process.

Venture capital investing is still a very male-dominated industry where female founders of startups say sexual harassment is a big problem. One woman is trying to change that for herself and others.
